إني أرتطم بهذي الأسئلة، والنتيجة أجدها أكبر مني، فأحس بالإنسحاق والتضاؤل أمامها، وأنا أكابد هذي الأسئلة؛ أجدها هي الحقيقة، والأجوبة رائعة، هي ما تبقى في رأسي، أما الأجوبة؛ تتساقط كأوراق الخريف؛ ولهذا سأبقى أنا الشجرة، يجذعها، وأغصانها، لا تعنيني الأجوبة بعد اليوم".
