أحفادي الأعزاء السامعين منهم والقراء، أستطيع الآن أن أتصور جيدًا كيف سيترك الناس البنادق والدبابات ويعودون في يوم من الأيام ليشتبكوا بالأيدي ويتحاربوا بالسيف والحجر والنبوت، فرغم ما وصل إليه العلم الحديث والنانو تكنولوجي والشبكة العنكبوتية، فقريتنا تعيش هذا المساء حالة كانت تعيشها منذ أكثر من ستين عامًا..,فقد انفجر البرق ودوت الرعود وهطلت الأمطار وأعلنت الريح عن غضبتها، فسقط عامود إنارة في قرية «خمّارة» جارتنا، أمام دار أبو عطية فقتلت عنزته وإحدى صغيراتها، وعلى إثر تلك الفاجعة انقطع التيار الكهربائي وأُعلنت حالة طوارئ في المنطقة، وربما في مركز «إيتاي البارود» كله.
