"لا يمكن تجاوز الماضي كليا، كما لا يمكن عيشه مرة أخرى" هذا ما أدركته روان بعد بحثها المستمر عن طفولتها التي انتهت فجأة ودونما مبرر بعد انفصال والديها لتمضي بعد ذلك في رحلة طويلة بحثا عن ذاتها وعن الحب..

وما زلت رغم رحيلي الدائم إلى مدارات الأسرار مفتونة بنفسي وأنا أرتدي "ملحفة أمي"، مفتونة بهواء جبالي، وبخلخال جدتي الفضي!"
