لا أتذكر كيف ظهر ولا من أين جاء، وجدته أمامي فجأة، قال كلاماً مبهماً، حاولتُ التملّص منه ولكنني لم أستطع، انحنى وأمسك بيدي وأراد تقبيلها، كرَّر بمذلة:
-صدّقني، لن يستغرق تصوير اللقطة سوى بضع دقائق، عليك أن تقف خلف المنضدة صامتاً وتنظر الى الحائط المقابل كأنك تنظر في مرآة.
بدا مثل شخصية منتزعة من رواية قديمة، أصلع، بعينين جاحظتين ووجه شاحب، يرتدي سروالاً فضفاضاً وقميصاً مجعّداً بلا لون، اعتذرت مرة أخرى وأخبرته إن لدي موعداً وقد أتأخر عنه، تشبّث بيدي ثانية وطبع فوقها قبلة لزجة، رأيت فوق الجانب الأيسر من صلعته بقعةً حمراء محاطة بالقشرة وبضعة خدوش، ظلَّ منحنياً لثوانٍ، وحين رفع رأسه ونظر إليَّ رأيت دموعاً في عينيه، قال إنهم سيطردونه اذا لم يجد ممثلاً يؤدي هذا الدور وربما لن يعثر على عملٍ لشهور، فمن أين سيعيش؟ ألا يستحق عطفي؟ من سينقذه إذا تركته في محنته؟
