سُنَنُ اللهِ في خَلقِه، هي أحوالُ تدبيرِه شئُون مُلكِه، وتَسييرِه أحوال عبادِه، بمقتضى علمِه وحكمتِه. والعلمُ بأحوالِ الأمم، وما أصابَه أهلُ الإيمانِ من الخيرِ والبركةِ والنَّصرِ بطاعةِ اللهِ وطاعةِ رسلِه، ومَا حَلّ بأهلِ الكفرانِ من النِّقمةِ والشِّدةِ والبأسِ بمَعصيةِ اللهِ وخِلافِ رُسُلِه، مِنْ أنفعِ العلومِ، وأرشدِها لسدادِ الرأْي، والحكمةِ في القولِ والفعلِ؛ فإنَّ الع سُنَنُ اللهِ في خَلقِه، هي أحوالُ تدبيرِه شئُون مُلكِه، وتَسييرِه أحوال عبادِه، بمقتضى علمِه وحكمتِه. والعلمُ بأحوالِ الأمم، وما أصابَه أهلُ الإيمانِ من الخيرِ والبركةِ والنَّصرِ بطاعةِ اللهِ وطاعةِ رسلِه، ومَا حَلّ بأهلِ الكفرانِ من النِّقمةِ والشِّدةِ والبأسِ بمَعصيةِ اللهِ وخِلافِ رُسُلِه، مِنْ أنفعِ العلومِ، وأرشدِها لسدادِ الرأْي، والحكمةِ في القولِ والفعلِ؛ فإنَّ العاقلَ يَحذو حَذو الراشدينَ، ويسلُك طريقَ المهتدينَ، ويقفُو أثرَ الصالحينَ، ويستعيذُ بالله من مَسالِكِ الضالِّينَ، ومَصيرِ المُسرفينَ.
وفي هذِه الرسالةِ نتعرَّفُ على سُننِ اللهِ في خلقِه؛ فمِنهم من يَحفظُه بحفظِه، ومنهم مَن يتولّاه بنصرِه وتأييدِه، ومنهم مَن يستخلِفه لإقامةِ شرعِه، ومنهم مَن يستبدِلُه لتولِّيه وإعراضِه، ومنهُم من يستدرجُه لإهلاكِه، وله سُبحانَه في خلقه شُئونٌ، قائمةٌ على كمالِ علمِه، وحِكمتِه البالِغةِ.
نسألُ اللهَ الهدايةَ في القولِ والفعلِ، وأن ينفعَنا وإخوانَنا المسلمينَ بما تقولُ أفواهُنا، وتكتبُ أيدِينا، إنَّهُ سميعٌ قَريبٌ.
