صَوْتٌ عَمِيقٌ، قَدِيمٌ وَمُهَيْبٌ…

ظَهَرَ رَجُلٌ طَوِيلُ القَامَةِ، مَلَامِحُهُ صَارِمَةٌ، وَعَيْنَاهُ تُشِعَّانِ بِقُوَّةٍ لَا تَقِلُّ رَهْبَةً عَنْ ابْنِهِ. عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ، كَانَتْ سِلَاسِلُ حَدِيدِيَّةٌ مَرِصَّعَةٌ بِحَجَرٍ سِحْرِيٍّ أَزْرَقَ، وَفِي قَبْضَةُ يَدِهِ سِلْسِلَةٍ طَوِيلَةٍ تَلْتَفُّ وَتَتَحَرَّكُ كَأَنَّهَا حَيَّةٌ مَفْتَرِسَةٌ.
