أحياناً أشعر أني سعيد جداً لدرجة أدق بها أبواب الجيران / وأختبئ / سعيد كمحارب ينام لدقائق وسط الحرب / عندي صندوق مليء بالذكريات / كصندوق الدنيا أستطيع أن أحدثك عنه كل مساء / وأحدثك عن تلك التي كانت في العيد لا تخبئ حزنها / توزعُ علينا السكاكر وبعضا من دمعها / كان لها أسئلة عديدة / وأنا بسيط جداً تستهويني / قصص الغول وأفلام الرعب / وحين لا أعرف الجواب أكون عنيفاً / أحياناً أكون سعيداً جداً أكتب اسمك على جدار الكنيسة / القديم / وأحفظ كل التعاويذ التي ربما تمسح عن ثغرك الأسئلة وطعم السكاكين الصدئة لأزرع مكانها شجرة غاردينيا بيضاء بيضاء جداً لا تهرب منها / الحمائم أشغل أغنية وأعطي البقال بقششياً / أوزع الحلوى على كل الجيران / عندما أكون حقاً سعيداً / سعيداً جداً
