ربما أسميها رواية مجازا،وهي استلهما للسيرة الذاتية لحاية والدي، وقد جعلت عنوانها باسم والدتي رحمها الله، أما داخل المتن فقد تصرفت بالأسماء ولم يبق منها على حقيقتها إلا النادر، فبلقيس، رمز للمرأة اليمنية، وأسعد الكامل، وقيس بن مكشوح المرادي، وعمرو بن معد كرب، وأسماء كلها رمزيات يمنية لها حضور في الوجدان، معظم الأحداث خيال مستلهم من الواقع، وواقع مصبوغ بالخيال، أرجو أن يجد القارئ العربي والميني على وجه الخصوص ما يمتعه في هذه الصفحات.
