الرواية تنقسم بين الحقيقة المرّة التي نقلتها الكاتبة بحذافيرها عبر وصفها للنفس البشرية والاضطرابات العميقة والحوارات المبعثرة ضمن النص وبين خيال الكاتب الذي أضاف للرواية القليل من الحماس.
