شتق عنوان الرواية من كلمة" السجدة" و
" الدرويش"
ويقصد الكاتب بـ " السجدة"
الراحةبعد سجدة صلاة الاستخارة وحوّل المعنى من التركية إلى العربية
" sen sadecen sonra gelen rahatlık gibisin"
هي راحة ما بعد سجدة صلاة.
ويقصد الكاتب بـ " الدرويش"
هو الشخص الذي يدور من دار إلى دار طالبًا للإحسان.
وبالعربية الحديثة أصبحت كلمة درويش تدل على شخص بسيط فقير لكن مكتفي الحال. يتصف بالنقاء والذكاء.
تعتبر الرواية من الأدب العربي الحديث وهو نص أدبي اجتماعي خيّالي، ويرتبط عنوان الرواية بشخصيةِ بطلَ الرواية "درويش"
تتدور الأحداث بين الأردن وتركيا وتحكي قصة شاب يعمل مديراً للعلاقات العامة بشركة , تلتحق فتاة جديدة للعمل بنفس الشركة, يعجب بها, تكرر اللقاءات الصامتة بينهما, إلى أن تحين الفرصة ويشتركان بمشروع الأنفاق بالباصِ السريع ويعملان عليه مع الشركة التركية لصالح الشركة, فيتعرفان وتكون حكاية الحب, إلا أن لها نهاية حزينة.
