هذي التي استوطنت روحي ضبا أمل وشاقطت فوق اشجاني دموع ندى
هذي التي أم نبضي طهر كعبتها
وما رأى غيرها محرابة الأحدا
هذي التي زنبقت بيداء قافيتي واستزرعت في رمالي سجعها الفردا
هذي التي أطلقت أكوان أغنيتي ولم أكن في غناها البكر غير صدى
زرعتها بين حقل الشوق سوسنة فافضل بالعشق زهر الحقل واحتشدا
سلَلْتها جنة بالحرف وارفةٌ
مهما تغوّل وحش الرمل وازدردا
