"رضاب" رواية تتناول فترة من أكثر فترات العراق تأزماً وفوضوية منذ الحرب العراقية-الإيرانية في أوائل الثمانينيات، وحتى الغزو العراقي لدولة الكويت في بداية التسعينيات من القرن الماضي، وما تبعها من استهداف وحصار للشعب العراقي، ولجوء كثير من العراقيين للهجرة والهروب من الوضع المأساوي، وذلك من خلال مراحل حياة الفتاة العراقية "رضاب" التي يصفها المؤلف بأنها: ليس لها مثيل: جمال، أنوثة، حياء، طول كأنها نخلة باسقة، حيوية، كأنها مهرة عربية أصيلة، عيون سبحان المعبود، فم ينطف عسلاً... كل ما فيها خُطَّ بريشة فنان لا يقل براعة عن ليوناردو دافنشي، وجسمها الممشوق ، وعنقها المشرأب ، وشعرها المسدول كأنها نخلة برحية من نخيل سومر... لو أدركها مايكل أنجلو لعمل لها تمثالاً وقال : هذه أفروديت الحقيقية.
"رضاب" ملاكٌ بسيط طيب متواضع، مشكلتها أنها تثق بالآخرين...
الرواية التي يغلب عليها الطابع الرومانسي الاجتماعي؛ تعمّد مؤلفها تجنب التورط في الإشكاليات والتحليلات السياسية لأحداث هذه الفترة، مكتفياً باستعراض أحوال وفئات المجتمع العراقي وما أصابه من تغيرات اجتماعية أثرت في شخصية الفرد العراقي.
