ما للوفاء دربٌ حتى أمرّ به ولا للحياة خلد حتى أحاببها ولا إليك أشجان تؤوب إليَّ ولا أبتغي منك وصلاً غيرَ مأمول.. ولا للعراق جرح حتى أبلسمه ولا للخطوب ليل حتى أجافيه... هذه جبال صحائفي يعثو الزمان بها وتفتقدُ التراتيل.. ما كان ينبغي أن أقول وقلتها بارقة أبو الشون، شاعرة عراقية. ـ مجموعتها الشعرية الأولى بعنوان "أناشيد ممنوعة" ـ نشرت قصائدها في الصحف العراقية. ـ ترجمت بعض من قصائدها الى اللغتين الانكليزية والفرنسية. ـ تناول بعض النقاد نصوصها في كتبهم النقدية. -فاز نص "لم يبق من الحلم شيئاُ" في مسابقة الأبداع في مهرجان النورفي بغداد
