لم تتناول هذه المسرحية قصة الخلق كعقيدة دينية تناولتها الديانات التوحيدية، بل تناولت في غايتها الكلية المعرفة الإنسانية، والوقوع في الخطأ ومحاولة البحث عن المعرفة لتجنب الخطأ
لذلك وجب علينا ان نطرح الأسئلة الوجودية الأولى في الذهن البشري على السنة الأوائل من البشر، لنجعل لهذه الأسئلة واقعا مؤسسا لهذا الفكر المتسائل الباحث،
لذلك تكون شخصيات آدم وحواء وقابيل وهابيل شخصيات اعتبارية وليست هي الشخصيات العالقة بالذهن، انما لإبراز نماذج بشرية واقعية للرجل والمرأة ولنماذج من الشخصيات الإنسانية المادية منها والروحية، وأصول الشر والمنازعات، وضرورة وجود الخطأ لاكتشاف الصواب,
لذلك اقتضى التنبيه للقارئ أن لا يتوقع الأحداث التي يعرفها، ويرى في ذلك زيغا عن الحقيقة، ومخالفا لما انزله الله، ذلك ان ما نكتبه هنا ادب نابع من الخيال، وليس أدبا تعليميا علينا ان نتحرى له الواقع المعترف به، لكنه الأدب الذي ينبع من الخيال يسعى لتجميل الواقع فيذهب إلى تعديله بأن بضيف إليه او بنقص منه حسب ما تقتضيه قواعد البنيان الأدبي النابعة من شروط الجمال الفني، وقديما جعل مؤرخونا لآدم شعرا عربيا موزونا ومقفى، ليشيع الذائقة الغربية.
