لم يكن والدي اسطورة، ولا قائدًا لدولةٍ ما .. لم يكتبْ التاريخ أسمه ولم تدون صوره في كتبٍ مدرسية ..كان أبًا فقط، بالروحِ يحمي أطفاله، ولو التزم الامر لوضع لنا احشائهُ لنتناولها عندما يهجرنا العشاء، لم يملك أبي كل شيء، لكنه اعطانا كل ما يملك ومع ذلك الالم، لم يكن أبي وحده من يعصف شتات قلبي، كان قلبي منهكا اثر تلك التي سرقته .. لم تهرب، لكن الحياة ارضختنا على الابتعاد، وكأن ذلك العذاب كان اضعافًا لانني يا سادة لا استطيع وضع الحمل عليها، نحن ضحيتان لشيءٍ يُدعى الواقع ولعل ذلك الواقع ايضًا من سرق الامان من حضن اطفال الشهداء، ودب الرهبة في قلوبِ زوجاتهم، لعل الشهداء الآن يتنفسون بعمقٍ اكبرٍ وسعادةٍ اكثرٍ، لكن الاحياء ماتوا حزنًا عليهم
