أخذت تجري خلف الأتوبيس البعيد هناك بسرعة لعلها تصل أو تلحقه قليلًا فيراها السائق ..لا يمكن أن تفقد شيئًا عزيزًا عليها بهذه السهولة فقد احتفظت به لسنوات وهذه هي الذكرى الوحيدة الباقية لها عنه، وعن ذلك اليوم فكان وقتها قبل انتشار الهواتف الذكية فهي حتى لا تملك أي صورة لهما سويًا لكي تتذكر ملامحه، وتقطعت أنفاسها في محاولة اللحاق به ولكن دون جدوى، فخارت عزيمتها ومضت تسير هامدة ونبضات الحزن تُبث في قلبها إلى أن سمعت صوتًا ينادى عليها "يا آنسة...يا آنسة"، ويحاول أن يلاحقها الخطى فأشار إليها ملوحًا بيده فاقتربت منه تتفهم رغبته...
