يتحدث عن معاناة اهالي الموصل في العراق بعد اجتياح عصابات داعش الارهابية وما قاموا به من قتل، ذبح، سبي، تهجير، لحين تطوعه في الجيش العراقي ومشاركة في تحرير مدينته ثم العودة اليها.
بعد ذلك الإعصار المرعب الذي أقتلع كل شيءٍ من جذوره وبعثره بعيداً، كأنه مارد عملاق برأس واحد وأطراف متعددة قلَب المدينة رأساً على عقب، هدم المنازل الآمنة وحرق الأخرى، جدران خاوية تمتلئ بحفر الشظايا والطلقات، تحتفظ بآثار ما حصل مثل نُدب غائرة في جسد. قتل أغلب سكانها وشرّد البقية، يَتّم أطفالها واثكل ورمل نساءها، أشجار محترقة وريش عصافير يتطاير في كل مكان كان شاهداً على وجود حدائق وشجيرات منتشرة تغرد فوق أغصانها الطيور المختلفة قبل تلك العاصفة.
