Book Description
"تفنن الشياطين المرتدون ثياب البشر في تعذيب ناجي في المعتقل ونقلوه بين سجون عديدة، من بينها سجن العقرب الرهيب، ربما ليضللوا أهله أو يميحوا بهم تراب الطرقات ويبللوا بعرق قلوبهم كل وسائل المواصلات. في تلك الأثناء كان ناجي يرسل الرسائل الكثيرة لريم دون أن تتسلم منها حرفًا واحدًا.
لم تكن تعلم ما السبب وما السر في هذا الاختفاء.
ساورها بإلحاح كابوس قرر أن يقنعها لتصدقه بأن ناجي قتل وتم عجنه مع الإسمنت والرمل في خلاطة ثم صبه في قاعدة مبنى جديد لمباحث أمن الدولة كجزء من الخطة التي تستهدف أن يكون في كل حي مقر حفاظًا على الوقت وحتى لا يتعب الضباط ولا أهالي المعتقلين".
