الدعاء عبادة وفي ذلك قال تعالى: "وقال ربكم ادعوني أستجب لكم" وقال عز وجل: "وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب، أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان، فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدون".
وللدعاء آثار إيجابية عديدة، فهو يغسل الأدران، ويزيل ما ران على القلب من غشاوات الغلظة والجفاف، ويصل الخلق بالخلق، ويعبر عن النقاء النفسي، وتسامي الروح، في بث شكوى متألمة، أو صرخة قلق، أو طلب استغاثة.
والدعاء سهل لا تعقيد فيه، ولا وساطة بين العبد ومولاه، ولا يحتاج إلى طقوس خاصة، أو تضحيات... إنه حالة من تحرك المشاعر الحية لتستغرق بإيمانها في محبة الخالق، والإحساس بعظمته، وأنه -تبارك وتعالى- بيده مقاليد كل شيء، وهو العزيز الحكيم.
وقد كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رائداً في فن الذكر والدعاء، فكان يتوجه إلى ربّه لطلب الأنس والحماية، وإظهار الفقر الإنساني أمام العظمة الربانية، فخزائن الرحمن لا تنفد، ورحمته تشمل الجميع، ولا يسع المؤمن إلا اللجوء إلى الله تعالى، وترديد الأذكار والأدعية بقلب مخلص، ولسان صادق، وشعور غامر بمحبة الله، وضرورة الالتجاء إليه في كل حركة وسكنة.
وهذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا قبسات هادية من وحي الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة، وبيان لأدعية رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في مختلف الأحوال والأفعال، في الصباح والمساء، في الحل والترحال، في العبادة والسفر، مع عرض لنماذج من الأدعية الجامعة التي ينبغي على كل مؤمن أن يتمثلها، ويمارسها قولاً وحالاً، فيبتهل إلى الله تعالى، ويرفع حوائجه إلى خالقه، فيشعر بالطمأنينة تسري في أوصاله، وبالنشاط المتجدد في نواحي نفسه وحياته.
