ولعل هذه السطور تعبر عما أجد داخلي من معاني الهم والأسى لمحنة الإنسان، أو تكون رثاءً للمعذبين في كل مكان، أو تكون دعوة صادقة لكل منا أن يعيش لغيره، فيرعى الضعفاء، ويكرم الفقراء، ويطعم الجائعين، ويقضي حاجة الضائقين؛ حتى ينهض مجتمعنا متراحما مترابطاً.
كما أنها أزاحت النقاب عن حقائق عظيمة من تاريخ هذه الأمة، وإنسانيتها الفريدة، التي لم تستطع أمة من الأمم أن تحاكيها فيما قدمته من إنصاف الإنسان وإكرامه وتقرير حقوقه، مهما كان جنسه أو لونه، لأنها حضارة لم تستق إنسانيتها من طبع فيها، أو خلق جُبلت عليه، وإنما كانت هذه المعالم الراقية، مبعث دين عظيم دانت به وطبقت تعاليمه، دين خاطب الله تعالى نبيه ومبعوثه بقوله: (وما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين)
