برهان عباس سلطان اليماني، شاعر يمني من مواليد 15 ديسمبر 2002 في قرية حولوجح بمحافظة إب. انتقل إلى محافظة الضالع حيث أقام سبع سنوات تعمق خلالها في علوم البلاغة وبحور الشعر، وبرع في بحري الطويل والكامل والوافر والمديد والمجتث والهزج وغيرها من البحور الخليليه . نشر أولى قصائده الفصحى مبكراً، لكن شهرته الحقيقية جاءت عبر قصائده العامية الوجدانية التي منحته لقب "ملك العتاب". يمزج في كتاباته بين الفصاحة الجزلة والعامية المكثفة، ساعياً لإحياء التراث بأسلوب معاصر دون التقيد بالمسار الأكاديمي التقليدي.
