رواية خرائب الأزمنة تأليف سليمان كامل، لأزمنة سحيقة، امتدت تأثيراتها تحت رماد القرون، ووضعت بصماتها على المكان، انطفأت البراكين الأولى المتأججة، واتسعت فوهاتها، وتراكمت حممها بين منعرجات جبال الشعراء واستحالت مع توالي العصور الجيولوجية سهلاً بازلتياً، تحيطه رعوش جبلية، واحراج نضيرة. من الجهة الشرقية على مطل السهل الغربي، نهضت رابية عالية؛ تراكبت فوقها بيوت من الحجارة، اقتلعت من الصخور الصلدة الناتئة التي أبقتها البراكين الخامدة جوبات متناثرة سُميت الحارة الواطئة منها بحارة غويران الوطا والحارة العليا بحارة (غويران المزار) وفي قمة الرابية تبدت سنديانة هرمة، بأغصانها المقشرة، كأنها مخالب نسر كسرته الأيام ونتفت ريشه.
