كتبت للصحافة منذ عام 1993 و اشتغلت في صحيفة "الصباح" منذ عام 2003 ومن ثم "الصباح الجديد"، في بغداد، وواصلت العمل بتحرير الأخبار واعداد التقارير والتحقيقات ونشر القصص القصيرة والمقالات الأدبية والسياسية والإشراف على الصفحة الاقتصادية؛ واشتغلت في مؤسسة شفق للثقافة والاعلام محرراً للأخبار ومعداً للتقارير والتحقيقات الصحفية في القسم العربي لوكالة "شفق نيوز"، وفي مجلة فيلي، وصحيفة التآخي ومؤسسات اخرى. نشرت قسما من قصصي في مجموعة اعطيتها اسم (خرائب هذا الرقيم)، طبعت في العراق، وفزت بالجائزة الأولى في مجال القصة في المسابقة السنوية لوزارة الثقافة دار الشؤون الثقافية العامة لعام 2010 عن قصة (آخرة الاسلاف)، ولي كتاب مهيأ للنشر من عدة أجزاء، يتضمن خلاصة تجربتي الصحفية من الكتابات؛ وانوي نشر بقية قصصي حال تمكني من ذلك...
