في زمنٍ تُسرَق فيه الطفولة وتُنفى الذاكرة، تنبتُ قصة حب في زاوية منسية من قرية سورية، حيث ظلّ شجرة تينة ودفءُ بيت طيني، وطفلان لا يدركان أن نظرة واحدة كفيلة بأن تغيّر مصير العمر.
"جود"، ذلك الفتى الهادئ، يكبر وفي قلبه وعد لم يُنطق، وحنين لم يُشهر، حتى تخطفه الحرب ذات ليلة، وتدخله في غياهب الأسر والغياب، لعشر سنوات لا يُعرف فيها إن كان حيًّا أو تحت التراب.
و"آيلا"، تلك الفتاة التي غادرته دون أن تختار، كبرت على حافة الأسى، تسأل عن رجل لا يرد، وتكتب في دفاترها عن صديق لم يودّعها، عن ظلّ شجرة وعن مشبك شعر بقي في جيب الذكرى.
الرواية ليست فقط عن الحبّ، بل عن الفقد الذي يُربّي العاطفة، وعن الحرب التي تغيّر ملامح الأشياء، عن الوطن حين يصير حكاية قديمة، والعودة حين تكون أكبر من مجرد لقاء.
حين عدتَّ إليكِ رواية تُحاكي القلوب التي انتظرت بلا صوت،
والأرواح التي صمدت في وجه الغياب،
رواية عن العودة…
