أغلقت جهاز الكمبيوتر خاصتي، وأويت إلى فراشي. لم أكن أشعر بالنعاس، ولكن أحاسيسي المتضاربة جعلتني أتكور في زاوية فراشي بلا حراك.
صوت وداد هذه الليلة يشبه أنين جرو فقد أمه. عاودتني القشعريرة، والأغنيات هربت من صوتي. أكاد أرى دموعها من خلف الجدران.
نساء كثيرات يجلسن الآن في صدري، يثرثرن بلا انقطاع... يكاد صدري يخرج من قفصه، ويفر هارباً من الأصوات الصاخبة واللهاث الموجع.
أشعر أني مدينة، أو ربما كون من الخيبات.
أنا الآن مستعدة اطرد هذا الحزن والضجيج الذي داخلي في نوبة قيء
فقد أغفو بعدها وأشرق غداً بلا صخب، بلا مرض .
القصة تحكي عن نساء حاولن إضاءة قبس من نور فاحترقن بلهب المجتمع ..بحثت ماجدة ووداد دائما عن طريق الضوء عن الحب عن أشياء أصبحت رمادا في مجتمع لا يعترف بحقهن في الحياة فقررن الرقص حول اللهب ليشرقن من جديد .
