"حكاية ويكيبيديا" هو كتاب إلكتروني مجاني، منشورٌ على منصة كتب عربية حرة، يتحدث عن موسوعة ويكيبيديا. يناقش المؤلف عبّاد، وهو كاتب ومراجع وإداري في ويكيبيديا منذ عشر سنوات، كيف يستطيع المتطوّعون في ويكيبيديا كتابة مقالات موسوعية وضبط جودتها ودقتها العلمية والأكاديمية. فرُغم أن ويكيبيديا هي سادس أكثر المواقع شعبية على الإنترنت، إلا أنَّ مُعظم متصفّحيها لا يدركون كيفية تأليف مقالاتها، وتوثيقها بالمصادر، والحفاظ على حياديتها وموضوعيتها من التلاعب. يتحدث الكتاب أيضاً عن تاريخ الموقع، وسياسته في جمع التبرعات وصرف الأموال، وكذلك عن المشاريع والمبادرات المبذولة في المنطقة العربية لتطوير هذه الموسوعة وإثراء محتواها باللغة العربية.
