كتبتها لأقول إن الجوع لا يهزم كرامة، وإن الاحتلال لا يطعن إلا في أجساد لا تنحني.
وفي زمنٍ صارت فيه المساعدات مشروطة، والدم مباحًا، والموت عادياً… كتبتُ لأشهد، وأوثّق، وأُدين.
"جياع الجياد" تروي صراع الإنسان مع القهر، ومع الحصار، ومع الصمت،
ولكنّها أيضًا تحكي عن جبال من الصبر، عن رجالٍ ونساءٍ وأطفالٍ… قرروا أن يصهلوا ولو أُنهكوا، وأن يعيشوا ولو بلا خبز.
