صدرَتْ له، غير الدراسات الثقافية في الغناء والموسيقى العربيين، مجموعاتٌ شعرية ورواية.
حائز على جائزة الشعر العربي 2005 ـ من جريد الرياض بالمملكة العربية السعودية، صدرت له خمس مجموعات شعرية آخرها "أهوال العدو" (2009)، ودراسات في الثقافة العربية آخرها: "ما وراء الوجه: سياسات الكتابة وثقافات المقاومة" (2010)، وهو صاحب رواية "سورة الرياض" (2007) عن دار الفارابي التي حققت أعلى مبيعات في معرض الكتاب الدولي بالرياض 2008.

يحتوي الديوان على بيان" ثورة على تجربة الذات"، واثنتين وعشرين قصيدة من عناوينها "جواك اتنين،رسالة إلى أبو الهول،يوم 24 يناير ،يا عم حسين ،في الميدان،يا بلدي،عاش الهلال وايا الصليب، بص يا عسكر،بحبك يا ميدان،بيض الدولة،المسيح ثورة،شالت وش وجابت وش،الست فلول،الأخ فرج، مدينة التحرير المقدسة،كان الميدان،الخواجة اسكندر،روح الميدان،قبل ما،سايق في ضميرك،ثورة لحضرتي،بجد مش فاهم". وختم بشهادتين للشاعر هاني ثروت بعنوان"عيادة كنتاكي الثورة" ولأحمد الواصل بعنوان "تضامن مع مصر".
وقد ورد في البيان"هل من الصعب أن ينجز اثنان عملاً أدبياً أو فنياً مشتركاً ؟،هل من الممكن أن تسقط أنانية الموهبة وشعور الذات الفردية ؟،هل من المعقول أن يُشْترك في لهجة ليست لأحدنا وننصهر بها سوياً؟،هل من المفترض أن يخطط لتجربة ثقافية مسبقاً بينما الحدث هو سبب أكبر وراءها ؟.نعرف أن هذه الأسئلة، ترن في ذهن كل من سيطالع هذه المجموعة الشعرية. برغم أن الفروق ظاهرياً تتسع ، وهي محض افتراض، فإن خطوط الاندماج – وإن كانت خفية- تردم الشعور بالفروق غير أنها لا تلغي الاختلاف.هذا الاختلاف بين الشاعرين فينا هو مرآة عكست كلانا في الكتابة. الشعر ثورة الشعور على تجربة الذات.وكنا ثائرين بشعورنا على تجاربنا كلها ".
