جمهرة البلاغة للإمام الفراهي محاولة من الكاتب تسليط الضوء على بلاغة العرب الطبعية في مقابل بلاغة البديع والتكلف التي كانت انفصالا عن الثقافة العربية الصرف وامتدادا للبلاغة اليونانية الارسطية التي تعنى بالتشكيل والتصوير، والأولى يمثلها الجاحظ، في حين أن الأخرى تتمثل في بلاغة الجرجاني، ونجد الكاتب يعرض لسجايا العرب وأثر ذلك في لغتهم وبلاغتهم، وجعل البلاغة في الصدق نطقا ونية وقصدا. وأرى أنها انعكاس لظل الوحي وأن سفساف الكلام لا يصح أن يكون من البلاغة في شيء
