تستهدف الأخلاق وصف وفهم وتعريف فعل الانسانية الذي يفرض على نفسه موضع الحرية بالنسبة للآخرين والعالم، إن الأخلاق الخالية من الاتساق والجلاء تخلو من الدلالة بكل معنى الكلمة، وهي بهذا الاعتبار النظري تؤلف وعياً بموقف مبدع، أي تقدم ممارسة أخلاقية في حال المخاض.
والسياسة مثلها مثل الأخلاق، تستهدف تكوين نمط معين من العلاقات الانسانية المعّرفة بحدود المعاني والقيم وإقامته والحفاظ عليه، يتم الذود عنه وإنضاجه، إنها تصلح لإقامة نظام سلمي يمكن وصفه بحدود القيم، وهذا يعني أن الأخلاق والسياسة تتداخلان تداخلاً جلياً ومتسقاً.
ومع ذلك فالأخلاق تقيم العلاقة بين من تريد وبين من يريد، وهي على الدوام علاقة أفراد مختارين، ما إن يضطر الفرد إلى التعايش حتى تظهر له شروط الحياة السياسية، وهذا ما يجعل جوهر السياسة ماثلاً في نظام مفروض من الخارج عل جملة أفراد ينتمون إليه.
