أن غرضنا بهذا الكتاب ، ذكر دعواتٍ مهمة مستحبة في جميع الأوقات غير مختصّة بوقت أو حال مخصوص.واعلم أن هذا البابَ واسعٌ جداً لا يمكن استقصاؤهُ ولا الإِحاطة بمعشاره. فأوّلُ ذلك الدعواتُ المذكوراتُ في القرآن التي أخبرَ الله سبحانه وتعالى بها عن الأنبياء صلواتُ الله وسلامُه عليهم، وعن الأخيار، وهي كثيرة معروفةٌ، ومن ذلك ما صحَّ عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه فعلَه أو علَّمه غيرَه، وهذا القسم كثير جداً ، وأنا أذكرُ منه هنا جُملاً صحيحةً تُضمّ إلى أدعية القرآن، وبالله التوفيق.
