القرآن الكريم كتاب ختم الله به الكتب، وأنزل على نبي ختم به الأنبياء، بدين عام خالد ختم به الأديان.
وهو حجة الرسول وآيته الكبرى، فلذلك كان موضع العناية الكبرى من الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وصحابته، ومن سلف الأمة وخلفها جميعاً إلى يوم الناس هذا.
وقد اتخذت هذه العناية أشكالاً مختلفة، فتارة ترجع إلى لفظه وأدائه، وأخرى إلى أسلوبه وإعجازه، وثالثة إلى كتابته ورسمه، ورابعة إلى تفسيره وشروحه، إلى غير ذلك.
ولقد أفرد العلماء كل ناحية من هذه النواحي بالبحث والتأليف ووضعوا من أجلها العلوم، ودونوا الكتب، وتناروا في هذا الميدان الواسع أشواطاً بعيدة، حتى زخرت المكتبة الإسلامية بتراث مجيد من آثار سلفنا الصالح، وعلمائنا الأعلام.
ومن هؤلاء الأعلام الإمام القرطبي، الذي أثرى المكتبة الإسلامية بكتبه الرائعة أمثال تفسيره (الجامع لأحكام القرآن) وكتاب (التذكرة)، وكتابنا هذا (التذكار)، الذي تناول موضوعات تتعلق بالقرآن الكريم وعلومه وفضله وفضل قارئه.
وقد قسم القرطبي كتابه إلى أربعين باباً احتوت على ما يغني المقبل على القرآن الكريم.
وبأسلوبه الرصين الهادئ يخرج لنا القرطبي هذا الكتاب الذي لا يستغني عنه طالب علم.
