(العيدية) لها معنىً لم نجده متجسداً عند بعض المتعايدين في واقعنا الاجتماعي، ولعل مرجع ذلك الى طريقة التعاطي مع تلك المناسبات المهمة في تاريخ البشرية، وقد خصّ الله سبحانه بع ضالاعياد بمزيد من الشرف، وعلى الرغم من ذلك صار العيد عند البعض ليس أكثر من مناخ يتلاعب في أطرافه الاطفال فحسب.
فلكي يكسب الانسان القيمة الحقيقية للعيدية يجب أن يثقف ما في العيد من قيم وآثار تجسدها العيدية. كما ينبغي أن يعي دورها في إنعاش المستوى الروحي والنفسي والتربوي والاجتماعي للفرد بشرط أن يعرف كيف يمرر المعطيات المادية بحيث تنعكس إيجاباً على السلوك والحركات، وهذا ناشئ من إدراك المناسبة.
وهي دعوة الى تجديد النظر فيما للأعياد من اعتبارات مقدسة قادرة على ممارسة التغيير وبناء أساس لمجتمع قيمي يدرك التعامل مع عناصر البناء.
