رواية ( تلميذ الأيام ) هي قريبة إلى حدٍ ما من إسمها، فهي تتحدث عن المواقف التي قد يمر بها الإنسان في حياته العملية والتي تجعله يلتمس نوعا من الموعظة والحكمة.
فقد صور الكاتبين الحياة على أنها مدرسة كبيرة، تحتوي على كمٍ هائل من المواعظ والعِبر التي تكسب الإنسان الكثير من المهارات والخبرات الحياتية.
لن أطيل الحديث عن هذه الرواية ولكنني أردت التنويه على أنها سميت ( تلميذ الأيام ) لأن الكاتبين يعتقدان أن لكل إنسان نسخته الخاصة من هذه الرواية، لأنه مما لا شك فيه أننا جميعا نملك تجاربًا وخبرات ومواقف حياتية — سعيدةً كانت أو حزينة— ، جعلتنا ندرك الكثير ونتعلم الكثير من المواعظ والحكم التي لولاها لم نصل إلى ما نحن عليه الآن؛ أختم بما ذكر الكاتبين في الإهداء الخاص بالرواية: " إلى كل من يبحث عن الجانب المشرق أو نقطة تحول في حياته ، ما زال في أعماق ذاتك روح جميلة لم تكتشف بعد ، إقترب من الله و تبسم ، فأقدارك مكتوبة، فارتقي ليرتقي بك كل شيء" .
