أعود مِن حيث كُنت بخذلان جديد يسكُن قلبي، الدليل الثاني الذي يُخبرني أنها ما زالت على قيد الحياة، ولكنها تعيش بدوني، يبدو أن هُناك شيءٍ ما خفي لا أعلمه ولا أعلم أيضًا مَن يعلمه، استلقي على فراشي في محاولة مني للنوم؛ ولكن كان هاتفي لديه رأي آخر حيث وصل رسالة جديدة مِن ذلك الرقم المجهول الذي يُصاحبني في رحلتي، كانت الرسالة تلك المرة مُختلفة عما سبق، فلقد كانت تحتوي على رقم والدتي، حاولت الإتصال على هذا الرقم فإذا بها تُجيب! أسمع صوتها يخترق قلبي قبل أُذني الآن، ما زالت على قيد الحياة وأنا ما أعلمه أنها توفت يوم ولادتي.
