قل إن هذا كله يشكل خليطاً من الأشياء والعواطف والأفكار لرجل عجوز يجلس في حديقة بيته على كرسي عتيق مؤهل للتداعي وينظر إلى ظاهر الأشياء وباطنها معاً, فتتدفق الصور والأحاسيس أمامه طازجة, عريانة, فاتنة, آسرة, بريئة كالأطفال يوم تلدهم أمهاتهم, إذا قلت هذا كله, تكون قد وصفت هذا الوصل مع محمد عفيفي.
