يتناول هذا الكتاب تجربة فخامة عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي د . سالم الخنبشي من منظور الفكر الاستراتيجي، من خلال دراسة الأسس الفكرية والمنهجية التي حكمت رؤيته السياسية والإدارية، وتحليل دوره في التعامل مع التحولات والأزمات التي شهدتها حضرموت خلال السنوات الأخيرة، ولا سيما في مرحلة التحولات السياسية والأمنية التي برزت بصورة واضحة منذ أواخر عام 2025.
ينطلق الكتاب من فرضية أساسية مفادها أن نجاح القيادات السياسية في البيئات المعقدة لا يرتبط فقط بالسلطة أو النفوذ أو الإمكانات المتاحة، بل يعتمد بدرجة أكبر على امتلاك رؤية استراتيجية قادرة على قراءة الواقع، واستشراف المستقبل، وإدارة التوازنات المختلفة، وتحويل الأزمات إلى فرص لتحقيق الاستقرار والتنمية.
