ننتظرُ بلهفةٍ عودةَ الجنودِ المُجازينَ من ديارِهمْ إلى ساحةِ المعركةِ في حربِ العراقِ وإيرانَ، مُشتاقينَ لسماعِ حكاياتِهمِ المُثيرةِ عن المدنيينَ وقصصِهمِ المُلهمةِ، كانَ الجنديُّ الاحتياطُ حامدٌ، من أهلِ مدينةِ الناصريةِ، يُشكِّلُ بينهمْ نقطةَ ضوءٍ تُشِعُّ بالأملِ والفرحِ والضحكِ. فحكاياتُهُ كانتْ بمثابةِ نسمةِ هواءٍ نقيَّةٍ تملأُ صدورَنا بالأملِ، وتُضيءُ دروبَنا في ظلماتِ الحربِ.
في ليلةٍ باردةٍ، بينما كانَ النجمُ الساطعُ يرقصُ في السماءِ، جلسَ حامدُ الناصريُّ على ربوةٍ عاليةٍ، وبدأ يُحكي حكايتَهُ لأبي عبدِ اللهَ، الصديقِ المُقرَّبِ له، وعينيهِ تُضيئُها نارُ المعسكرِ، أومأَ أبو عبدِ اللهَ برأسِهِ مُستمعًا، بينما حامدُ يُحرِّكُ يديهِ وكأنَّهُ يُمثِّلُ قصةً غريبةً.
