استعادت جونو بريق وجهها وهي ترفع رأسها بعناد وتشير بأصبعها نحو تالا قائلة: "بدأت الحرب بسببها، مشاركتكم في ولادتها خيانة لي ولبقية النجوم".
انطلقت شرارات الغضب من عيني جوبيتير قبل أن يجيبها بحنق: "من الواضح أنهم تلاعبوا بعقلك ومشاعرك بأفكارهم الشيطانية"، قاطعته جونو وهي ترتجف غيظاً وإنفعالاً: "منذ أن ظهرت إلى الوجود تغير كل شيء، الكون كله تغير بسببها".
وتوقفت برهة قبل أن تتابع بنبرة حالمة "لقد سئمت ذلك حقاً، أنا أريد عودة زمننا الجميل، أريد للإنسان أن يحيك المزيد من الأساطير عنا ومن أجلنا، أريد أن نكون مجدداً محور عشقهم وإيمانهم وأحاديثهم، لقد سئمت كوني مجرد تمثال في قلاعهم وبيوتهم ومتاحفهم، أريد أن أحظى مرة أخرى بحياة الرغد الحقيقية".
سألها جوبيتير بحدة: "وما شأن تالا بأحلامك؟"...
استعادت جونو نبراتها الحاقدة وهي تعترف بنفاد صبر قائلة: "لقد وعدتني النجوم بأن نحققها لي حين يتم القضاء على تالا، وعدتني بأن توحّد عقول البشر وأفكارهم ومشاعرهم لأصبح أنا محور حياتهم"، ومنحت جوبيتير لأول مرة منذ بدء اللقاء نظرة حالمة وهي تتابع بصوت متهدج: "وعدتني بأن تعيد أمجادنا يا عزيزي جوبيتير، ألا تريد ذلك؟ ألا تريد أن تعود مكانتك ككبير للآلهة ويعبدك البشر جميعاً ويخافونك".
أجابها جوبيتير بنظراته النارية: "هذه هي أحلام الضالين".
