الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه ومن والاه،
وبعد:
فإن توفيق الله للعبد نعمة يهبها الله سبحانه وتعالى من كان راغبا في الصلاح، حريصًا على الخير، سالكا طريق الاستقامة.
وهي من جليل نعم الله، والتي تخفى على كثير من الخلق، فهي منحة من الكريم سبحانه، لا تسدى لكل أحد، ولا يقدر عليها إلا من وفقه الله لها.
وهي نعمة عظيمة تحصل لمن قام بأسبابها، فالعبد لا يملكها، بل على قدر رغبته في الصلاح، وحرصه على الخير ييسرها الله سبحانه له.
فإن وفقه فيفضله ورحمته، وإن خذله فيعدله وحكمته، وهو المحمود في هذا وهذا له أتم حمد وأكمله، ولم يمنع العبد شيئًا وهو له، وإنما منعه ما هو مجرد فضله وعطائه، وهو أعلم حيث يضعه، وأين يجعله
