مورل مفروي مؤلفة نالت شهرتها بعد نشرها كتاب "ابنة مولانا جلال الدين الرومي" التي ترجمت الى تسع لغات عالمية والتي تتحدث عن جانب آخر من الحب. ولدت مفروري وترعرعت في فرنسا، وكانت حريصة على السفر واستكشاف العالم منذ صغرها، بعد انهاء دارساتها وحصولها على شهادة في العلوم السياسية انتقلت للعيش في أفريقيا ومن ثم انتقلت الى الولايات المتحدة وتستقر الآن في انجلترا. عملت أيضاً كصحفية لعدة شبكات إذاعية في هولندا وفرنسا والولايات المتحدة ولسنوات عديدة في انجلترا مع قناة الأخبار العالمية بي بي سي. من اهم مؤلفاتها: -ابنة مولانا جلال الدين الرومي -حديقة الححاف.

وصف رواية بنت مولانا جلال الدين الرومى تأليف(مورل مفروي) :
بعد أسبوع من وفاة (كيميا)، اختفى شمس الدين، وهذه المرة للأبد.. هناك نظريات عدة تتعلق باختفائه. تميل إحداها إلى التعميم، لأنه أكثر درامية، فتشير إلى مقتله بإيعاز من علاء الدين. لكن لا يوجد ما يعزّز هذه الرواية. يضرب سلطان ولد، في قصيدته المتعلقة بسيرة والده، صفحاً عن هذه الفكرة. وينادي ثلة من مؤرخي الأحداث بأن شمس الدين قد عاد إلى تبريز، بينما يذكر مصدر أن وفاة شمس الدين قد وقعت في مدينة خوي بدرب عودته إلى تبريز. هناك شيء أكيد: أنه ذات ليلة باردة من ديسمبر عام 1248 في قونية، اختفى شمس الدين فلم يُرَل ثانية. قد تكون وفاة كيميا أحد العوامل التي تسبب باختفاء شمس الدين، لكن مهما كان تأثره الكبير بموتها فقد لا يكون مدعاة لاختفائه. ما يمكن القول به، إن وفاة كيميا كانت مَعَلماً بارزاً، يشير إلى نهاية علاقة أخرى، بين شمس الدين ومولانا جلال الدين الرومي. حدث تغير كيميا: فمَهمّتها في هذا العالم انتهت. وعلى المثيل، فإن تغير مولانا أيضاً قد حدث، لكن مهمته كانت بداية. وكي تتم مهمته كان على شمس الدين أن يرحل، فبقاؤه كان يُعيق مولانا. وفي الحالتين، انتهى عمل شمس الدين، ومصيره فاض إلى مجراه.
