الجهاد أداءٌ نبيلٌ وراق، تُستخدم فيه القوة المعنوية لاستقامة النفس ودفع وساوس الشيطان، وهو ما سماه رسول الله (ص) بالجهاد الأكبر، وتُستخدم فيه القوة العسكرية لمواجهة العدوان والاحتلال والظلم والطغيان، وهو ما سماه رسول الله (ص) بالجهاد الأصغر، وقد ارتكب بعض المسلمين اخطاءً شوَّهت صورة الجهاد، عندما قتلوا الأطفال والنساء والمدنيين، في المقابل أعطى حزب الله صورة ناصعة عن نموذج الجهاد الذي يتقيد بتعاليم السماء، حيث جمع نبل الجهاد وسمو الأخلاق والأهداف في ترابطٍ يحقق للجهاد مساره الإلهي الطاهر.
لذلك جاء هذا الكتاب يفسر بعض ايات الجهاد من اجل استخلاص بعض العبر والمواقف الحقيقية الصادقة لمعنى الجهاد
