ولَمَّا كَانَ أصحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم هُم قُدوَتُنا في دِينِنا ، وهم حَلَةُ الكِتابِ الإلَٰهِيِّ والسُّنَّةِ المُحمَّدِيَّةِ ، الذِينَ حمَلُوا عَنهُم أمَاناتهِم حَتَّىٰ وَصَلَت إلَينا ، فإنَّ مِنْ حَقِّ هَٰذِه الأمَاناتِ عَلَىٰ أمثالِنا أن نَدرَأ عَن سِيرَتَم كُلَّ ما أُلصِقَ بهِم مِن إفكٍ ظُلماً وعُدواناً حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ صُورَتَم التي تُعرَضُ عَلَٰ أنظَارِ النَّاسِ هي الصُّورَةُ النَّقِيَّةُ الصَّادِقَةُ التي كانوا عَلَيها، فنُحسِنُ الاقتِداءَ بِم وتَطمَئنُّ النُّفوسُ إلَىٰ الخَيرِ الذي ساقَهُ اللَّهُ للبَشرِ عَلَىٰ أيدِيهِم، والطَّعنُ فيهِم طَعنٌ في الدِّينِ الذين هُم وَراءَهُ، وتَشويهُ سِيرَتَم للأمانَةِ التي حَلُوها وتَشكيكٌ في جَميعِ الأُسُسِ التي قَامَ عَلَيها كِيانُ التَّشريعِ في هَٰذِهِ الِلَّه الحَنيفِيَّةِ السَّمحَةِ.
