صحيح أنه أفضل طريقة للتغلب على الصعاب هي اختراقها لذا، كان على "مرغريت" بطلة الروائية اللبنانية "فدى أبو شقرا" في "انتظريني" أن تمحو نظرات أم مجروحة، وأن تسكن أنين جدة مثقلة بالندم، أن تطمئنن والداً عاجزاً يتملكه الخوف، وأن تستعد لجلسة حوار مع ذاتها. جلسة، لا يعرف قرارها، بين متصارعين: قلبها وعقلها. في هذا العالم تدور رواية انتظرني؛ هي صفحات من أنوثة متمردة، ومن رفض القدر والاستسلام إليه، تحاول الروائية من خلاله أن تستعيد مكانة المرأة وتضعها في الصدارة وأن تروضَ الرجل عبر الكتابة، وهنا تضع الروائية الكتابة في مواجهة الحياة. فماذا تكون النتيجة؟ تدور أحداث الرواية حول أنئى ساحرة "مارغريت" الجميع يراها هكذا ولكن بقيت بالنسبة إلى الجميع: "مرغريت بنت الأخرس". تقع في حب "دانيال" من طائفة أخرى، وهنا تبدو مطالب المجتمع والدين صارخة أمامها فهي ودانيال من طائفتين تتقاتلان... والحب محرم في أجواء قريتها، وفي أفق هذه الحرب. وعليه، نقع في هذا الفضاء الروائي الذي رسمتَه لنا "ندى ابو شقرا" على منظومة من القيم يتجاوز فيها الإيجابي مع السلبي، ويتفاعل العام مع الخاص، ويحتدم الصراع بين الخير والشر ويشقط فيه ضحايا كثر. فهل ستكون مارغريت من بين هؤلاء الضحايا، أم أنها ستخرج من هذه القوقعة التي طوقت بخطوطها الحمراء الناس دهوراً وأزماناً، هذا ما سنكتشفه مع فدي أبو شقرا التي يتحول معها الحب إلى ملحمة عشق وألم لضياع الأنثى، ولكنها سرعان ما تنفخ فيها الروح من جديد، لقد أرادت "فدى" الحياة لكل نساء الأرض وهي في طريقها إلى البحث عن كينونة المرأة الأنثى بكل عوالمها..
