كتاب اليهودية العلمانية تأليف يعقوب ملكين، وهو ترجمة عن العبرية، ويبرز لنا اليهودية العلمانية التي لا تعتقد في وجود إله وقد تم التعبير عن هذا الاعتقاد في مقدمة الكتاب وفي أول فقرة من فقراته حيث تقول: يؤمن اليهود العلمانيون بالإنسان ويرون أنه خالق القيم الإنسانية ولا يؤمنون بالله فالله حسب اعتقادهم من صنيع الإنسان"، فاليهودية في إسرائيل تنقسم إلى يهودية دينية، ويهودية علمانية.
والكتاب في مجمله يقع في 7 فصول، الفصل الأول من الكتاب يعرض لنا قيم إنسانية وقومية عند هذه الفرقة، والفصل الثاني يتناول اليهودية بوصفها ثقافة تعددية ومتطورة، والفصل الثالث يتحدث عن خصوصية الهوية اليهودية الإسرائيلية، والفصل الرابع بعنوان: الله كبطل أدبي والتناخ كأساس لليهودية، والفصل الخامس يعرض التعددية كمبدأ مميز وموجه في اليهودية وفكرها، والفصل السادس يتناول الإيمان بقيم إنسانية متناقضة للنظرية النسبية، والفصل الأخير يتناول تعليم اليهودية بوصفها ثقافة
