رواية رمزيَّة. صُبغَتْ سطورها بالحُبِّ, والعُزلة, وجنون الألوان. تقع في 420 صفحة, وتدور أحداثها حول تجارب اجتماعيَّة, بين القاهرة والأسكندريَّة. تُناقِش الرِّواية فكرة "الانهيار الأُسري" عن طريق قِصَّة مُتداخلة لعدداً مِنَ الأسر المُفتَّتة. بطل الرِّواية "أمجد" طبيب بشري تخرَّج حديثاً في كليَّة الطِّب, والتحق بالعمل في مصحَّة للطب النَّفسي, يصطدم بحالة غريبة من نوعها: أسرة كاملة داخل المصحة, أب وأم وابنتهما, التي تُدعى "ياسمين" يُحاول طيلة الأحداث أن يهرب من عُزلته, وفي الوقت ذاته يُحاول فك طلاسم الغموض الذي يكتنف الفتاة "ياسمين - النَّـدَّاهة" التي وقع- عبثاً- في عشقها. أحداث رومانسيَّة مُشوِّقة تصل بالقاريء إلى هالة من حقائق قديمة في المجتمع المصريّ, تُمثِّل سوءَة في جبينه: سوءَة الأنثى. ورغم اختفاء تلك السَّوءَة ضمنيَّاً, إلا أنَّها لا تزال مُؤثِّرة إلى حَدَّاً كبيراً.
