عندما يضطر المواطن العربي الي ترك موطنه و البحث عن الرزق في اقطار اخرى و قد ضاقت الفرص في موطنه و يصرح ان نطبق المثل القائل " من ترك داره انقل مقداره " ففي هذه الحالة يرى هذا المواطن المطحون قلة الكرامة و الأحساس بانسانيتة .
بطل هذا النص عاد من رحلته مشوه الوجه قائلا لناسه " اتحرقنا في كل مكان في العراق في اليمن في سوريا " فضلا علي ان اهله لا يتعرفوا عليه في البداية من اثار الحرق علي وجهه في جو ضبابي تحيا شخصيات هذا النص لا تعرف ماذا يخفي لها المستقبل قياسا علي الحاضر المؤلم .
