Book Description
صاحب هذا المسند هو الإمام العلم أبو بكر عبد الله بن الزبير القرشي الأسدي الحميدي المكي، الحافظ الفقيه، أخذ عن أبي عبينة (بل قال الذهبي في موضع آخر: هو أجل أصحابه) ومسلم بن خالد وفضيل بن عياض، وهو معدود من أكابر أصحاب الشافعي (قال السبكي تفقه به وذهب معه إلى مصر). توفي بمكة سنة تسع عشرة ومائتين 219هـ وقد كان من كبار أئمة الدين. وللحميدي عدة تصانيف، أشهرها هذا المسند، ويعد مسند الحميدي هذا من أقدم المساند والظن أنه أول من صنف المسند بمكة. وقد بلغ عدد أحاديث هذا المسند 1300 حديث والأغلبية فيها للأحاديث المرفوعة، وفيها عدد قليل للآثار الموقوفة على الصحابة والتابعين.
ولما كان هذا المسند موضوعاً على مسانيد الصحابة ولم يكن مبوباً على أبواب الفقه، عمد المحقق إلى جعله مفهرساً مرتباً على أبواب الفقه، واضعاً من ثم فهرساً آخر وهو فهرس الأعلام التي وردت في أثناء الأحاديث وذلك تسهيلاً للوصول إلى المطلوب وقد كان المحقق قد استهل الكتاب بترجمة للمصنف الإمام وبتعريف بالرجال الذين يتصل بهم أسناد صاحب النسخة إلى المصنف. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنه تمّ مع هذا المسند نشر رسالة وجيزة للحميدي في أصول السنة، وكانت ملحقة بآخره في نسخ الكتاب ومخطوطاته الأصلية. ومما عمله المحقق أيضاً وضع الأرقام المتتالية في أوائل الأحاديث وعليها تمت الإحالة في الفهرس المرتب على الأبواب، وكذا في فهرس الأعلام والأمكنة.
