قدرُها في الحياة أنّها معشوقة الكلمات فصارت ضمن فئة الكتّاب وميّزتها روحها في الكتابة عن بقية الكتاب وراحت تكتب له أحلى رسائل الغرام على ورق الورد وتنقلها إليه نسمات العبير فتصله كلماتها مُعطّرَة بروحها، حدث ذات مرّة أن كتبت له نصاً على وجه القمر فتضوع الأخير عطراً يفوق كل طِيب، أما هو فبدد الحب - الذي لفّ شغاف قلبه - مرارة الفقر التي اعتادها، وسما بوداده فوق كل سماء حتى جاور النجمات العُلا، وهناك وصله أحد نصوص الحبيبة فقرأه على عجل وما لبث أن رتله ترتيلاً على مسمعٍ من النجوم وإذ بهن يفضن لمعاناً وألقاً ما من كِبر الحب وعظمته بل خفراً وإذ ذاك بعض النجمات فاضت أعينهن بالدمع من هول البهاء وراحت تزهو سمواً وتسمو زهواً.
