الْكِلَابُ الضَّالَّة... لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدًا قَصَّ عَلَيَّ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةَ، أَوْ صَدَفَتْهَا عَيْنَايَ فِي كِتَابٍ لَمَا صَدَّقْتُهَا الْبَتَّةَ. لَكِنِّي عِشْتُ تَفَاصِيلَ أَحْدَاثِهَا وَاعِيًا سَاهِيًا، لَيْسَ لِيَ حَقٌّ فِي نُكْرَانِهَا، وَأَنَا جُزْءٌ مِنْهَا، وَرَغْمَ عِلْمِي أَنَّ لَا أَحَدَ سَيَصْدِقُهَا، إلَّا أَنِّي سَأَقُصُّهَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِلْعِبْرَةِ.
